Diamond

A diamond is the most valuable and expensive among precious stones. Diamonds are called faceted adamants, which are unbeaten in hardness in the kingdom of minerals. The word adamant comes from the Greek "Adamas" and means "invincible." The color of these minerals can be different: colorless, yellow, blue, pink, brown, green, even red and black. Diamonds of "pure water" are very valued - colorless transparent stones without impurities.

Diamonds are considered to be the conductors of positive energy, they bring success, wealth, love, health and longevity to the owner.

Since ancient times, it was believed that spiritual worlds are associated with diamond. It was considered a stone of spiritual vision, allowing you to see the unknown and understand people's thoughts, revealing second sight. The energy of diamond makes the mind clear, increases concentration, improves memory. It brings purity of thoughts and eliminates indecision. It also helps to improve memory. “A diamond strengthens relationships, makes the union of loving people lasting, and builds trust between partners.” It contains tremendous energy which it generously shares with its master.

“Cullinan-I” is one of the nine large diamonds resulting from the cutting of the world's largest diamond, Cullinan. The stone was found at the beginning of the 20th century in the British colony Transvaal in South Africa and weighed 3.1 thousand karats (621.2 g). The stone was of amazing purity, it lacked mineral inclusions, bubbles and cracks. In 1908, it was decided to break the diamond into pieces and cut it. The diamond was sent to the famous Ascors brothers - jewelers from Amsterdam, who was exploring it for six months before starting work. Four years later, two large, seven medium and ninety-six small diamonds of extraordinary purity were ready. The largest part of the diamond was pear-shaped and called the "Star of Africa", or "Cullinan-I." Its weight is 530.2 karats.
